Surprise! No one predicted it. We received the Finalist award. Along with that we were also given the Engineering Inspiration award, which we will be able to compete with others who won that at states. Uniquely, we were the only ones to have revived two rewards in this.

Go 3322! The competition is over.

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 4:57pm

Unfortunate ending, the other side blocked is in our attempt to perform a capture. We have done well, but our reign has ended.

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 4:43pm

For some unknown reason, we actually lost the last game by a mere four points. There is good chance we will win the tiebreaker. Good luck alliance three!

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 4:23pm

I don’t even know what to say except we won the first final.

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 4:20pm

The finals have began! Good luck alliance three!

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 4:10pm

The tiebreaker semifinal lead us to victory. We achieved a breach and capture in the nick of time excelling us straight into the finals. Unfortunately, our next opponent is extremely skilled and equipped. This will be difficult, but not impossible. Good luck alliance three.

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 3:58pm

In our second semifinal, we were unable to beat alliance two again. They, however didn’t win by nearly as much as we did. Hopefully we’ll be able to proceed to the finals! Go alliance three!

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 3:36pm

In our first semifinal, we played the best game this year for us, taking out two of the opponents robots (legally), breaching and capturing. In the process, we almost beat the high score for this event. Go alliance three!

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 3:07pm

For our second quarterfinal, we finished fixing the problems due to our Cheval de Frise encounter. This helped us get a breach, and by extension, win the quarterfinals! Go alliance three!

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 2:38pm

We just took on alliance six, and were successful in destroying the blue alliance in our first quarterfinal. Our robot actually got desperately stuck on the Cheval de Frise. It got removed in the end by the FTA. Hopefully neither are damaged.

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 1:11pm

Congratulations! We have made it to the third alliance. Teamed with The Flying Toasters (3641) and The Grizzlys (66) we’ll face off alliance six in the quarterfinals.

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 12:38pm

Alliance selection has begun. We’re in 30th place, so there isn’t much hope for us to be selected. Our overall stats right now is a 5:7 win to loose ratio, and 17 ranking points.

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 12:11pm

Our final qualifying game was tense, trying to get a breach in the last few seconds. Unable to do so, we gained no ranking points leaving us at 30th place.

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 11:52am

We have just played our penultimate qualifier round, and it was pretty decent. We attained three ranking points, bringing us back to 27th place. One more game to go for us, then comes alliance selection.

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 11:08am

We are now in the middle of a snow storm. In April. AGAIN!

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 10:52am

Right now we’re at the practice field, trying to improve our auton code for the Cheval de Frise. So far, it is going well.

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 10:19am

We were victorious this game, bringing us to 26th place again. Our best strategy at this would be to focus on a breach the follow games, gaining at least one ranking point per game.

Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 9:52am

It’s our first game of the day (no pun intended), and the robot is a lot more responsive. We pulled off four crossings and a high goal shot. Hopefully we’ll make it to higher ground today.

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 7:16pm

We’ve passed our last game for today, and will resume tomorrow.

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 6:44pm

This was a close call, winning by a mere four points. No breach or capture was attained, so only two ranking points (putting us at a total of 10) were gained. We’re now at 26th place.

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 5:52pm

Superb luck! This game we achieved both a breach, capture and a win, gaining us four ranking points! Although we are still in a non-favorable position, 30th place means a lot to us right now.

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 5:00pm

The problems we had earlier are mostly gone, but it didn’t help. We got a ranking point, but it hardly got us out of our last place purgatory. We can do better!

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 4:55pm

On a rather unrelated note, SpaceX just launched a rocket into well, space. Just a cool fact that took place during our competition.

Unlike most modern rockets, this one’s launcher is reusable. Just this minute, it has touched down intact!

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 4:10pm

At this point, State Championships is a lost cause. Our robot failed to do anything besides pull a foul last game, and the rest of the alliance didn’t do much either.

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 3:40pm

This game was much more prosperous for us. We got three ranking points and are back in 38th place (still not that good). We got a high goal shot and multiple defense crosses, getting us 97 points (a lot for one game).

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 2:50pm

Round three for us has brought us from last place to well, last. We came very close to a breach, but our alliance couldn’t quite cross the ramparts in time. More focus needs to be spent on crossing defenses.

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 1:40pm

This game wasn’t that good either. No ranking points were gained, and we lost. On other notes, although the arm spazzing out wasn’t fixed, it didn’t majorly affect our playing. Most of the blame can be put on an unnamed team, who pretty much didn’t do anything the whole time.

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 12:58pm

Currently we are in 38/40th place. Slightly embarrassing. This is early though, and the top teams have only 6 ranking points, so a comeback is possible.

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 11:53am

We just played our first round, and it didn’t go excellently. Our Cat. A arm got damaged, and failed to get us across the Cheval de Frise near the end of the game, preventing us from getting any ranking points. Hopefully it will be fixed by the next game. Go 3322!

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 11:12am

Let the games begin!

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 10:56am

So we didn’t get the Portcullis. This is disappointing. We can do better next time.

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 10:33am

The drum line is playing in the opening ceremony. The songs played include Burnt Toast and Super Funky.

Reminder: Scream for the portcullis! Loose your voice for it. Any questions?

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 10:07am

We need everyone to cheer for the portcullis at the audience defense selection. This is important for our team’s success during auton.

Fri, Apr 8, 2016 at 8:46am

Everything is still in set-up, but we’re getting close to the game. There is going to be a safety captain meeting, inspection, etc. Then the opening ceremony will begin!
