Our History

Evolving Leaders Of The Future

Team 3322’s history is one to be remembered. We started as a team of approximately 6 people in 2010, because a teacher at our school was interested in starting a team and asked a few students to participate. Our rookie year was quite successful, and we have just grown from then on. We have made appearances at 8 Michigan State Championships and 7 Worlds Championships, 3 in St.Louis, MO and 4 in Houston, TX. Team 3322 has used 2+ shops/Maker spaces over its team existence, and has participated/hosted more than 15 outreach events. Starting in 2014, we began our annual Fruit Sale fundraiser to raise money for the team, which has since expanded to a fruit and nut sale and now Fruit and Nuts and Chocolate and Snacks!

We used to be known as Eagle Imperium, a name we used from 2010-2021. This went alongside a Roman theme white, sky blue, and red theme, with the slogan ‘Create, Empower, Inspire.’ In the beginning of the 2022 season, we decided to move away from the Roman theme and went for a simple place holder ‘Skyline Robotics’ until further rebranding meetings could commence. Then in the summer of 2022, we had our chance! Those from the team who wanted to came together over a span of 4 weeks to decide on a new brand name, image, and mission.  The eventual outcome was ‘Eagle Evolution’ sporting sky blue, navy blue, and white as the primary colors, and with the slogan ‘Evolving Leaders of the Future’ and a modernized theme.
